What is Twind and how do I prepare for the update? — Guide for principal companies

Complete guide for principal companies on the update to Twind: what data is transferred, when it happens, how to access it, and what to do before, during, and after.

Twind is CTAIMA's new CAE platform, unifying CTAIMACAE and e-coordina. In this article we explain what changes, what happens to your data, and how to prepare as a principal company so the transition is as smooth as possible.

ℹ️ Keep in mind: we recommend bookmarking this article in your browser so you can refer back to it quickly during the first few weeks after the update.

What is Twind and why are we making this change?

Twind is CTAIMA Group's new Business Activity Coordination (CAE) platform. It unifies CTAIMACAE and e-coordina into a single environment — simpler, faster, and ready to incorporate artificial intelligence.

If you work with multiple clients, you know what it means to manage different platforms: separate URLs, usernames and passwords scattered across spreadsheets, individual accounts for each company. With Twind, all of that disappears. One platform, all your clients in one place.

What improves from day one?

  • Unlimited free users on the Basic Plan — no more paying for additional users.

  • All the document and access status of your resources centralised in one place.

  • A clear, real-time view of compliance for each contract.

The way you work does not change — the environment does. And over the coming months you will see continuous improvements that simply were not possible with the previous technology.

How does Twind work?

This tutorial walks you through the basic actions you need to take as a principal client in Twind from your very first login. If you prefer to watch before reading, this is the best starting point to get familiar with the platform.

What happens to my information?

You will not lose any relevant data. We make a secure copy and transfer it automatically to Twind.

What will be transferred:

  • All active contracts

  • All completed or expired contracts from 1 January 2025 onwards

Access to earlier history: You will be able to consult data prior to January 2025 in your current platform (CTAIMACAE or e-coordina) in view-only mode, with no time limit.

When does it happen and how long does it take?

The update process takes place overnight:

  • Start: 00:00 on the assigned date

  • Estimated end: between 8:00 and 9:00 in the morning

During that window, the platform will be temporarily unavailable. Once the process is complete, you will receive an email with access instructions.

⚠️ Important: if you use access control, download the information you need the day before so you can consult it during the morning of the update.

Can I change my update date?

Yes. You can request a change within an approximate two-week window around your assigned date. To do so, contact us through the support channels.

How will I access Twind?

When the update is complete, you will receive an email from [email protected] with access instructions.

  • You will need to create a new password the first time you log in.

  • If you do not receive the email, check your spam or junk folder.
